This trio performs jazz standards and jazz arrangements of other popular songs to accompany dinner at le Hibou, a relatively new and popular restaurant in Wakefield serving vegetarian and seafood delicacies. The restaurant is next door to the famous Black Sheep Inn and features a terrace with a wonderful view of the Gatineau River
Bethan is local talent who has been enchanting Wakefielders for years where she had a regular gig at the Maison Earle with the same trio. Loic Martin is a West African guitarist who excels at soloing with his George Benson style scatting. In his native Benin, he was the first professor of Lionel Loueke: Herbie Hancock’s guitarist. Andy Roberts has been a regular with the Ottawa Symphony for 15 years and is a disciple of local bass virtuoso, Joel Quarrington.
