NAC to showcase three jazz artists next fall

The National Arts Centre announced the first installment of its NAC Presents series showcasing Canadian artists for next year (from September to December) today.

The jazz artists included are:

  • Alex Cuba (November 2 and 3): Latin-funk, pop
  • Amélie et les Singes Bleus (December 6): manouche (gypsy jazz) / cabaret
  • Holly Cole Christmas Concert (December 20): vocal jazz

No artists beyond December have been announced.

Last year, John Geggie's Invitational jazz series was also included in NAC Presents, which was announced in early September. The Geggie series line-up has always been announced in the early fall.

Tickets for Alex Cuba and Amélie et les Singes Bleus are available now, while Holly Cole tickets go on sale on September 4.
