The area’s newest jazz festival takes place through November in a quaint little Café in Buckingham, le Café des Artistes de la Lièvre (819-281-1987). Great food and a great atmosphere in a century-old log house. The festival takes place on November 5, 12, 19, 26 and 27. Every festival night features two local jazz groups playing one set each.

Pulse Mondiale was born in 2003 in San Francisco out of the many sojourns of its founder, Rene Gely, in Latin America, in the Middle East and in Europe. Since then the group has made the great leap to the North to rebuild itself around "World Beat" and talented jazz musicians from the Ottawa-Gatineau region. Pulse Mondiale is a musical voyage through the many rhythms and sound textures of our planet.
Fruit des séjours de son fondateur, René Gely, en Amérique latine, au Moyen Orient et en Europe, Pulse Mondiale est né en 2003 à San Francisco. Depuis, le groupe a fait grand saut au nord pour se reconstituer avec des musiciens world beat et de jazz talentueux de la région d’Ottawa- Gatineau. Pulse Mondiale c’est un voyage musical à travers les rythmes et les textures sonores de notre planète.
