• John Geggie, mentor - double bass

This new initiative by local guitarist Tim Bedner is aimed at local music students. He extends an invitation, on the last Monday of every month, for students to come and jam with some of Ottawa's most accomplished jazz musicians. By playing with a mentor at a live venue, the students will get real-life experience and constructive critique of their playing and improvising.

The first night of this programme will be held down by none other than John Geggie.

The four up-and-coming jazz guitar students from Carleton University who will perform with Geggie are Alex Suatac, Alex Moxon, Justin Duhaine, and David Gaw.

Everyone's welcome to come down and listen to the results.
