Over thirty-seven years! That's how long Ottawa's APEX Jazz Band has been playing its excellent mix of New Orleans tailgate Dixieland and its British offshoot called Traditional Jazz or simply 'Trad'. For the past 18 years, the band has held forth at the Royal Oak to play the best Dixie in the Ottawa area to a friendly and faithful crowd.
