In this first-of-its-kind photojournalism fine art print exhibit in the City of Ottawa community galleries, OttawaJazzScene.ca photojournalist Brett Delmage presents 0.68 seconds that define the jazz experience in Ottawa, from bars to the NAC.
Ottawa’s Jazz Seen features fine art photographic prints made from a selection of his 9,000 published photographs of 30,000 hours of jazz performance in the past 10 years.
Which jazz performances will you see? You’ll have to see the show in-person to find out!
This special 10th anniversary project of OttawaJazzScene.ca closes on Tuesday August 27 at 9:30 p.m.
Prints are being sold by auction to make them as affordable as possible. To place your bid and see OttawaJazzScene.ca’s published news story, interview, or review associated with the photograph’s original publication, please visit the web address listed on the title plate of each print. If your phone or other device is able to scan the QR code on the title plate, you can visit the printed URL without typing it in. (Firefox is an excellent web browser for iOS, Android, and Windows. It has superb, built-in QR code scanning and excellent privacy and ad-blocking controls.)
The cellphone coverage in the gallery in the lower level of Shenkman Arts Centre is marginal, however Shenkman Arts Centre has free wifi. Of course you can always photograph the title card or write down the short URL and access the print’s website page on your home computer.
Please don’t forget to share your comments in the guest book in the gallery.
