Capital Youth Jazz Orchestra (CYJO) performed a tribute to Count Basie on March 3. talked with Director Nicholas Dyson and band members to discover what they have gained from participating in CYJO. Discover why members and listeners return to CYJO every year, from the interviews and concert excerpts in this video.

CYJO returns with their next concert on Sunday April 14 to present "a very exciting program of Canadian music, including songs by Mark Ferguson, Adam Daudrich, and Christine Jensen." They will be joined by guest soloists and the McGill University Jazz Orchestra, under the direction of Joe Sullivan. Expect a big sound.
