The Grey Jazz Big Band
Centrepointe Studio Theatre
Friday, 2018 November 9

The Grey Jazz Big Band proves the aphorism: "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing." It's Ottawa's most senior band, with “a lot of experience”, and includes many retired musicians keeping up their chops playing in it. Some of its members are in their 90s.

Bill Luxton was the band's MC and male vocalist for more than 25 years. He died September 13, at the age of 92.
