Congratulations to Michael Bein, who won a pair of tickets (a $30 value!) to hear the Miguel de Armas Trio at La Grange de la Gatineau on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 8 p.m. for an unforgettable evening of authentic, no-holds-barred Afro-Cuban jazz. The tickets were generously donated by La Grange de la Gatineau.Tickets to the show are still available.

Master pianist/composer Miguel Angel de Armas was born in Havana, Cuba. Now based in Ottawa, Ontario, Miguel's trio performs the original compositions of Miguel and Marc Decho and re-harmonizations of a popular & lesser known jazz standards. The music is modernized Latin-Jazz with a deep sense of tradition. A trio not to be missed!

The Grange is a magnificent 180-year-old log building that was once a pioneer barn and has now been adapted for professional and social events. Its riverside, woodland setting and authentic heritage furnishings offer a unique Canadian atmosphere in a tranquil environment. La Grange de la Gatineau is a not-for-profit organization to promote heritage, the arts, discussion and debate to support the community.

The answer to our skill-testing question, "What is included in the cost of a ticket for this show?" is "one beverage". The answer could be found at www.grange.ca/events/concerts-3/, where one can also find out more information about the show and purchase tickets.
