"Returning for the third time by popular demand. Chamber music meets improv theatre meets free jazz in this unique evening of audience-directed musical improvisation. Eight musicians from the orchestra will improvise an entire evening of music. No script, no safety net. Just the musicians and the audience and a set of musical games. A highly-entertaining evening of laughs, musical mayhem and mystery multimedia."

The skill-testing questions was "Tell us a few details about one of the other concerts that Ottawa Jazz Orchestra is presenting this season, and its date." An answer (many were possible) could be found at www.ottawajazzorchestra.com, where you can also purchase tickets for "Whose Solo Is It Anyway?" and the other concerts in the season.

Congratulations to Jason Nuyens, who won a pair of tickets to hear Claudia Salguero – Boleros Unplugged (Une soirée de boléros et de jazz Latin) for an evening of boleros and Latin jazz at les Brasseurs du Temps on Monday, August 26, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.  Les Brasseurs du Temps (BDT) generously donated the tickets.

Latin American music is renowned by its rich mix of poetic content, exuberant harmonies, decadent vocal interpretation and instrumentation, all of which sets the stage for an intimate evening of evocative and romantic melodies interpreted in Spanish by Claudia and her ensemble.

The correct answer to our skill testing question "What is the name of the song that Claudia Salguero performs in the video linked to from her concert listing at the BDT website?" was
 La Gloria eres tu".
